Consultation Fees as of 15th July 2026
We are committed to high-quality medical care while keeping our fees fair and transparent. Medicare only covers part of our costs therefore we charge a fee for all consultations including follow up appointments. Fees will vary according to the time and treatment necessary. It is a requirement that patients settle their account at the time of consultation, the Medicare rebate is claimable at the time of your payment. Children under 16, Pensioners over 65 and Veteran Affairs we choose to bulk bill.

Procedures and Dressings
Use of our treatment room attracts a fee for all patients in addition to a consultation fee, including those who would otherwise be bulk billed.
This is because Medicare does not fully cover the costs associated with treatment room services, including nursing care and medical supplies.

Why is there a gap?
The Government’s indexation of Medicare rebates has not kept pace with the rising cost of practice. On average, AWE and CPI increase by 3.3% per year to cover the rising costs of practice. Medicare rebates only increase by 2.1% per year.
The difference is a decrease in the value of your rebate. Making your rebate worth less every year.
This image beside from the AMA illustrates how the 'gap' has widened over the last 30 years.
