Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, making regular skin checks an important part of preventative healthcare. Our doctors provide thorough skin examinations and can assess suspicious spots, moles and lesions. If required, we can discuss treatment options and perform minor procedures within the practice

Fee: $125.00 (Medicare Rebate $45.05)

Skin Checks

As part of a skin check, your doctor may use a dermascope to examine moles and skin lesions in greater detail. This non-invasive assessment helps the doctor to examine the structures beneath the skin surface that are not visible to the naked eye providing additional information about skin changes and supporting clinical decision-making with regard to monitoring, investigation or treatment.

Dermoscopy

Our doctors can provide management of a wide range of common skin conditions. Skin concerns can affect comfort, confidence and quality of life. We will work with you to understand your symptoms, discuss treatment options and develop an appropriate management plan. We can assist with the assessment and management of conditions including:

General Skin Conditions

A range of minor procedures can be performed at the practice. Where a procedure is recommended your doctor will discuss the treatment plan, expected costs and any applicable treatment room fees before proceeding.
