Dr Heather Brand

GP Obstetrician, Female, DRANZCOG FRACGP MBBS (Hons) DOH DCH

Dr Heather Brand is a GP Obstetrician and practice partner, who graduated from the University of Western Australia. She has particular interest and experience in women's and children's health. This includes contraception, sexual health, menopause, pregnancy and care including delivery of your baby and follow up care. Heather is a youth friendly doctor and happy to provide care for children and teenagers.

Dr Brand is available for consultation Monday, Thursday and Friday. She is currently only accepting new patients for pregnancy.

Dr Aisling Cafferkey

GP Registrar, Female, MB BCh BAO

Dr. Aisling Cafferkey graduated from University College Dublin in Ireland in 2018 before relocating to Western Australia in 2019.

With over five years of experience, she has worked extensively in adult medicine across Perth while also gaining valuable experience in emergency care at Perth Children’s Hospital. Aisling has also completed diplomas in Paediatrics and Obstetrics and Women’s Health, demonstrating her dedication to providing comprehensive and specialised care. She has recently returned from maternity leave to continue her GP training.

Dr Cafferkey is available for consultation Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Dr Samantha McDonald

GP Obstetrician, Female, DRANZCOG Advanced FRACGP MBBS (Hons) Currently on maternity leave

Dr Samantha McDonald returned to Busselton in 2020 after completing her medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 2014 and GP fellowship in 2019, she is now a practice partner. Samantha is a GP Obstetrician and her special interests includes women’s, paediatric and sexual health. She is also a youth friendly doctor.

Dr McDonald is currently on maternity leave.

Dr Katelyn Keys (née Edis)

GP Registrar, Female, MD BBioMEDSc

Dr Katelyn Edis is a locally trained doctor who completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 2022. She has worked across Busselton, Margaret River and Bunbury hospitals, gaining experience in paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, emergency medicine, surgery and anaesthetics. Katelyn is currently undertaking her Diploma of Child Health and enjoys caring for patients of all ages.

Dr Edis is available for consultation Monday to Friday.

Dr Elizabeth de Jong

MD, FRACGP, DRANZCOG, SCHP, Clin Dip Pall Med

Dr Elizabeth de Jong (Liz) is a GP Obstetrician who moved to Busselton in 2024. Liz graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2017 and has since completed many additional qualifications in Obstetrics, Women’s health, Child health, Sexual health and Palliative care. Liz recently had the best practical learning experience of all, becoming a mum herself, and is returning from maternity leave.

Liz loves the wholistic nature of General Practice and supporting the family as a unit. Liz has a special interest in women’s and children’s health and has a passion for delivering comprehensive perinatal care to mothers and babies. Liz is qualified to insert and remove contraceptive devices and facilitate that family planning discussion.

When she isn’t working in GP, Liz is absorbed with her family exploring the Southwest.

Dr de Jong is available for consultation Wednesday and Friday mornings.
